Ramon van Engelenhoven (b. 1995) began playing the piano at the age of six and studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he completed his master's degree in 2019 with the highest possible grade. He studied with Frank Peters and took master classes with Alexander Gavrylyuk, Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Paul Badura-Skoda, among others. Ramon has won several awards, including the International Steinway Piano Competition, the Princess Christina Competition and the Grand Finale of the Young Pianist Foundation Competition, where he was the first to receive the Grand Prix Youri Egorov.

He has performed in leading venues such as the Royal Concertgebouw, TivoliVredenburg and the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ, and soloed with international orchestras. As a chamber musician, he regularly collaborates with musicians of the Concertgebouw Orchestra. In 2023, he made his debut at the Prinsengracht Concert. His album Korngold - A Portrait for Piano was nominated for an Edison Classical and internationally acclaimed in 2024.
